Seating limited to first 25 registrants. We look forward to meeting you :) We are in the midst of a psychedelic wellness renaissance with the naturally occurring mushroom fungi & plant medicines. We begin with a short overview of some of these medicines and their application for wellness & healing. In this 2 1/2 hour workshop you will learn how to cultivate transformational mushrooms on your own (ie. home based cultivation) with wellness intention. Seating limited to first 25 registrants. We provide a brief legal backdrop and considerations for growing transformational mushrooms. We will discuss considerations and aspects of micro & macro dosing. The bulk of this workshop consists of discussing the four phases of mushroom cultivation: inoculation, colonization, consolidation, and fruiting/harvesting. You will receive a single pre-made 6-quart dub-tub "clam-shell" style grow chamber (note: not an entire kit). You can easily replicate more tubs from this model on your own with readily available, local materials. Demonstration materials & equipment for inoculation and colonization will be provided with gourmet pink oyster mushroom liquid culture and agar plate. You will also receive a useful reference book for growing transformational mushrooms. Also, a customized DIY (do-it-yourself) manual is provided including step-by-step procedures, list of vendors, supplies, educational/next-step resources, and projected cost outlays. Many mushrooms are categorized as adaptogens which are plants and mushrooms that can help your body respond to stress, anxiety, fatigue, and overall well-being. These fungi are now being closely researched by institutions and industry for their potential to improve conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, inflammation, and the list goes on. The second part of the workshop will include insights on micro & macro dosing protocol. Several micro dosing protocols will be introduced during this portion. The fee for the workshop is $155. You will also receive a useful reference book for growing transformational mushrooms.
