Homebrewed Comedy hits the stage at Kelly's in Endicott on Saturday, Aug. 20. Zack Hammond is headlining the show and Chris William and Jarrod Micale are joining host Mike Peters. The show starts at 8 p.m. Come out and enjoy the show. About the comedians: Mike Peters, a Binghamton comedian, specializes in self-deprecating, observational humor. A contributor for Funny or Die, Peters performed at the Funny Bone in Syracuse, the Greenwich Village Comedy Club in New York City, won the Utica Brews Laugh Contest and Uptown Roast Battle and opened for Super Troopers’ Rabbit, Erik Stolhanske, and Gilbert Gottfried. Peters produces shows all over New York and hosts his weekly podcast, On the Mic with Mike Peters. Jarrod Micale has established himself as one of the young standouts in the Lehigh Valley comedy scene. A Lancaster native, Micale is a regular at the Harrisburg Comedy Zone and Phantom Power in Millersville, Pa., where he’s opened for Joe List, Sam Morril and Joe Derosa. Micale hosts the RiffBusters podcast with Chris William and is constantly using observational skills to keep the audiences coming back for more. Shamokin comedian Chris William has been on stage for about a decade. A host of three podcasts, RiffBusters, I’m Annoyed and Up and Up, William is a storyteller, who’ll keep you entertained by spilling chunks of his damaged soul. A part-time host of the M.U.L.L.E.T. Open Mic in Lewisburg, Pa., William has traveled all over Pennsylvania to make people laugh. He’s a producer and host at the Cherokee Tap Room in Danville, Pa. Originally from Maryland, Zack Hammond has been doing stand-up for more than a decade and has traveled all over the country while working on recording his four albums, including his latest, “... Because I’m Considerate.” He performs regularly at Wise Crackers in Scranton and has worked in New York City, Philadelphia and Baltimore and opened for Doug Stanhope. Known for his dark take on life, the world and humanity, Hammond won the 2010 NEPA Comedy Idol and NEPA Scene’s Got Talent in 2015.
