Hi! I’m looking for a regular weekly or biweekly babysitting job at 6 pm or after on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday evenings. I live in Royal Oak and I’d like to find a job in the Woodward Corridor (Ferndale, Pleasant Ridge, Huntington Woods, Royal Oak, Berkley, or Birmingham or very near one of these suburbs). I’m in my 40s, have been caring for kids since I was a kid myself, and am the mom of a 10-year old girl. I was an infant and toddler nanny when I was in my 20s and early 30s working toward my masters. I especially love caring for infants and toddlers, but I’m comfortable with kids of all ages. I’m fully vaccinated and twice boosted. I’d be happy to take rapid tests the days I’d come over. I also plan on getting CPR and First Aid certified. I have a dog of my own and I grew up with cats. So, I’m completely comfortable with pets. I charge $30 per hour for up to three kids and then another $10 per house for each extra kid up to five kids. I am happy to also fold laundry, tidy up the kitchen, and help kiddos put away toys and tidy their rooms. If I was paying good money for a weekly sitter, I’d like to come home from a night out to pleasant surroundings and to be able to wake up the next day without those chores on my plate. So, that’s what I’d do for others. I’m physically fit and will be getting right down on the floor to play the younger kids. I’m all for trips to the park and I’m definitely NOT all about screen time. I can take the older ones to the local tennis court or for a walk to the local ice cream place, if you like. I’d also be happy help with homework. I work full-time, but I’m amicably divorced and don’t have my daughter on W, T, and F. So, I figured I’d be smart with my time and make some extra money.
