Tell me you do not actually believe Ted Wheeler! The problem in Portland is NOT the rising Gun Violence! The problem in Portland is Mayor Ted Wheeler, Council person Jo Ann Hardesty, and Oregon Governor Kate Brown! These are the people who instituted the DEFUND THE POLICE policy; just over two years ago - and look at the city now! And why is the city in the piss poor state that exists today? It is not just because of the aforementioned individuals' policy of DEFUND THE POLICE; but in doing so they first destroyed the "Gun Violence Crimes Unit"! These three could not have been MORE ignorant in their actions. This unit was not just a local gun crimes unit; these individuals were trained with and had open links to State, Federal resources AND they knew the people on the street. And yet - this is the unit that the DEMOCRAT LEADERSHIP of Portland, and the State of Oregon opted to eliminate. And this, PEOPLE, is WHY you have rampant gun crime in YOUR City. Of course it would have been helpful of these same three would have stood up against ANTIFA and "Black Lives Matter" at some point during their over two years of NIGHTLY RIOTS in Portland. But honestly it comes straight back to these same three people; and you all keep renewing their tenure! WOW; none are so blind as those who WILL NOT SEE! And now Ted Wheeler actually stands up and says he has a plan, a plan to reduce gun violence, by 10%; over a two year period. But then how much higher will it be before the end of his mythical two years?? Portland is running headlong towards a cliff, with a sightless bag over its eyes with these three clowns pretending to lead! But more significantly;why do all of you keep supporting these pathetic individuals?
