Description
Are you “older” now and want to pass on your guitar licks 'n tricks to a worthy and eager student? That's me... and I am “older” too! (66 yrs. to be specific) I suppose it's my bucket list coming into view now...yep, I said 'older' and those things come into my mind often these days. Anyway, the stumbling block I have now is that I can't afford traditional guitar lessons, or ahem, I can't afford much at all if anything.
Would you be willing to show me some of the guitar talents you've gained over the years anyway, without the money as a motivation? I do play now and enjoy the blues and jazzy blues the most, but am open to learning all kinds of other musicality. Folk, jazz, rock, indie, even bluegrass, and light country. I play an acoustic Guild and an electric Ibanez.
It's a very BIG LONG shot I know...just thought I'd put it out there to see if anyone would be interested in passing on what you know.
You won't be disappointed with my enthusiasm and willingness to take direction and learn what you have learned over your lifetime of playing guitar. Even if you have to dust it off and get those calluses back in place I'm sure there is a lot you'd like to pass on to an eager student learner like me.
I'm in Grants Pass and prefer to stay here but am open to Zoom teaching as well which opens up the doorway to anywhere in the country or world for that matter.
Ok, hope to hear from you... and again you won't be disappointed in my raw talent and willingness to learn. I'd be an excellent student and very appreciative as well.
