Me for a helper. Drywall is ALREADY cut away and access is very easy below and above in the attic. I don't know if this is 3/4 inch or 1/2 inch pipe but I believe it is 3/4 inch pipe. The Hot and Cold drops are 8-10 ft straight drops. Holes are there. NO wood cutting needed. All insulation is cleared from the area that needs work. You just reach about 5 inches. Attic is well Lit. Attic is well ventilated and about 10 degrees hotter than outside temp. There are many pieces of strong wood flooring in the attic so you will not need to balance on ceiling joists while you work. Safe easy access to the work area. I have a sawzall and some blades. I have extension cords for electric tools. EASY ACCESS and minimal discomfort and my help. You pick the date and time. (Not Sunday Please) I NEED: Honest Bids. You bring the PEX, the joints and valves and materials, the pipe connections, the tools, etc.. The cold water drop: Pipe nipple through drywall to back of sink with new water valve for 3/8 compression fitting running to faucet, turn 90, 8-10 foot rise to attic, turn 90, go 8 inches, connect to galvanized water pipe. Straight and simple. See pics. The Hot water drop: Pipe nipple through drywall to back of sink with new water valve for 3/8 compression fitting running to faucet,, turn 90, 8 inches to right, turn 90, 8 to 10 foot rise to attic, turn 90, go 24 inches, turn 90 down to a T coupling where the PEX connects to galvanized. The other part of the T goes 20 inches to another T which connects to a brass male fitting (older pex) and also connects to a galvanized 90 turn. I want to PEX more eventually, but cash is tight right now. To summarize, you will run about 4 feet of pipe in the attic with a few turns, two connections to galvanized, and another connection to a previous pex job. See pics. Call or email.
