Great Dane male needing a new home. He is my buddy, my protector. I do NOT want to do this, but I have to. I’m a recently single mother of a toddler and my Dane needs a new home. He was/has always been weary around men, especially taller men with facial hair. We’ve tried puppy classes, dog parks etc.. he behaves when we’re not at home, but he is going to protect me no matter what, in his “home atmosphere”. His mortal enemy, the Mail Man, is very understanding that Thompson gets scared around men. Treats and bacon are his biggest motivators. He does fantastic at dog parks, as long as there aren’t any tiny dog bullies. Thompson needs to live with someone who has had, or has Great Danes, large dogs, and/or has experience with blind/deaf dogs. Text only, Willing to meet up for Thompson to meet you.
