Description
Do your research! These aren't beginner or child pets. They are messy (clean their cage daily) and require not only pellets but also hay and veggies everyday! But they are awesome pets to have and I do have some hacks for helping with cleaning.
We are rehoming our male guinea pig to a good home. With school starting back and me working, the kids aren't keeping up with their care (feeding/watering/cage cleaning) and I just don't have the energy after work.
$20 rehome fee. No cage! You must have a cage. He is almost 2 years old and is mostly black with a white patch on his butt. He has been by himself for almost his whole life and I would NOT recommend him having a cage mate. Male piggies can be territorial. You can have another piggie but it would need a separate cage, they can still socialize by setting their cages side by side so they can talk to each other.
