The Dərds, a rock and roll band based out of Del Ray, Alexandria, are looking for two new members to round out their lineup. We are looking for a new bass player and help drive the rhythm section and a singer to share vocal and auxiliary percussion responsibilities. The Dərds eclectic song selection includes covers (Beatles to Bruce, Cure to the Cars, Sinatra to the Stone Temple Pilots) and a few originals. If you play bass or sing, have an open mind and a desire to have fun while making music with some Del Ray Dads, we would love to hear from you. We practice weekly on Tuesday nights (as family and work schedules permit) and seek to do semi-monthly shows in and around Alexandria. Auditions will be in early September, and we hope to start playing shows again in November.
