Meet Octavia! We got Octavia when she was about 4 or 5 months old, she is now almost 2. When we got her she was very timid, scared of men and was unruly! We have worked with her a lot and her behaviors are so much better. She is a big love. She is very protective of her people and of property. Unfortunately, one of my friends moved in for a few months and brought her dog. Her dog started attacking Octavia. We kept them separated until my friend moved out but Octavia is now not so friendly to other dogs. I understand why, but we have two other dogs that are getting snapped at. I have a 6 year old and Octavia snapped at our Pit for coming close to him. I can’t have my kids getting hurt in the cross fire. We also foster dogs that I don’t want injured. She would probably do best being the only dog with her behavior right now. We love her, and this kills us to do but my worry for my kids and other animals outweighed my want of keeping her.
