Who: Vel Phillips Taskforce and Friends present: What: “An Evening of Baroque Music with Ravenna Lipchik, Ravenna Helson, and Fumi Nakayama When: Saturday, August 20, 2022. 4:00 PM Where: Milwaukee Friends Meeting House, 3224 N Gordon Pl, Milwaukee, WI 53212 You are invited to attend a free concert benefiting the Vel R. Phillips Legacy Fund. The Vel R. Phillips Legacy Fund was created to support the statue of Vel Phillips who will become the first African American woman upon state capitol ground nationwide. This event will be held at the Milwaukee Friends Meeting House with a concert of works by J.S. Bach, Corelli, De Fesch, Biber and Handel - performed on period instruments by Ravenna Lipchik (baroque violin), Ravenna Helson (baroque cello), and Fumi Nakayama (harpsichord). To support the Vel R.
