Heavy Lift Saturdays is a morning drop-in session lift series that offers the opportunity to add a “heavy lift” to your week of training. Remember: Heavy is relative. —-------------- During this session, you will take part in an extended warm up that targets your mobility, stability, glute/scap activation, dynamic flexibility….and overall movement. Getting you ready to konnect with your best self as you lift heavy ****. —-------------- Heavy lift Saturdays will focus on the 4 foundational patterns/lifts: Bench Press, Hinge-Pattern Deadlift, Squat, and Row. Remember: HEAVY IS RELATIVE so therefore we will review proper mechanics and muscle groups in engaged. Each person will receive feedback and evaluation of lifts as well as essential modifications to increase safety. —------------ Heavy lifting (when done properly and with proper volume) helps stimulate muscles and increase lean muscle mass. Then there’s the other benefits as well: increase general strength, improve movement/athletic performance, increase caloric efficiency (burning more calories), help you to appear leaner, and improve brain health/mood. —--------- Lifting on your own and want to check in that you’re doing it correctly? (This session is for you.) Already training and wanting to add a heavy lift day to your routine? (This session is for you.) A coach or trainer looking to get a foundational lift session in with your group. (This session is for you.) Want to lift, engage, and talk shop!
