Description

-Admission to this event is $15, paid at the door! Waystone members will receive a discount and priority registration if the event fills up. -This is a Strike Force event, which means each participant will bring a list of no more than 2000 points. -Pre-game choices such as relics, psychic powers, warlord traits, and pre-battle stratagems must be chosen ahead of time and are part of the list. -This event will be using the Warzone Nephilim: Grand Tournament mission pack. -Scoring will follow the rules in the Warzone Nephilim mission pack, including the 10 points awarded for having your entire army Battle Ready. Battle Ready models have their main areas colored and a simple finish on their bases. If you have any questions about whether a model is Battle Ready, feel free to ask the TO. -Scoring will be done in the Best Coast Pairings app. Additionally, each player will be given a form at the beginning of the event. Throughout the day, each player will be asked to mark down their top three choices in two categories: Friendliest Player and Best Painted. At the end of the event, a prize will be given to the Best General (decided through BCP scoring), the Friendliest Player, and the Best Painted! -All datasheets and rules from current Codices and publications (including Forge World) are permitted. Legends datasheets are not permitted. -If asked, a player must produce a copy of their list. This can either be printed out or digital, but if an issue arises then current GW publication rules and points values will take precedence (i.e., if BattleScribe says one thing and an official GW FAQ says another, the GW source will be followed). -Models do not have to be fully painted to play, but if every model in an army isn’t Battle Ready then you are missing out on 10 points! -Conversions and "Counts-As" or proxy models will be allowed on a case by case basis. Our only concern is that a conversion or proxy is approximately the same size as its official counterpart and is recognizable as the model it represents. If you have a question about your model please let the T.O. know! -Each game round will be 3 hours. When the round is called, dice are down. -Chess clocks are allowed as a tool to help players stay on pace. However, using a chess clock will not be enforced, nor will it be a deciding factor in any disputes. -If you need a rules clarification, do not hesitate to talk to the TO! -Free coffee!
