The Summer Chorus of Rhode Island and Southeast Massachusetts, a 501c3 nonprofit, will present “Music for a Summer Night”- two annual concerts on Friday, August 12 at 7:30 PM at St. Theresa’s Church, 265 Stafford Road, Tiverton, RI 02878 and Saturday, August 13 at 7:30 PM at St. Thomas More Parish, 386 Luther Ave., Somerset, MA 02726. The musical program will include a 70’s medley, “Mamma Mia”, the music of Abba,”Express Yourself: The Music of Madonna”, a Duke Ellington medley, “Comedy Tonight” by Stephen Sondheim, “Pure Imagination” from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, and much more. Directed by Frank Wilhelm and accompanied by Erik Thompson, the Summer Chorus has over 50 members from Southeastern MA and throughout RI. Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door. Children under 12 are free.
