Defined, GRIEF is the conflicting feelings that arise from the end of or change in a familiar pattern of behavior. That encompasses SO MUCH. Grief comes up with death of course, but also life transitions, changes or endings in relationships, shifts in identity, health, and sense of home or safety, among others. It all counts as loss. And where loss lies, grief lies with it. And often, because there isn't really space in our society to pause and honor these feelings, they get pushed down, disregarded, or even abandoned all together. And do they go away then? even with time? HELL NO. They accumulate. They become a seemingly insurmountable mountain. And they weigh us down, dimming our light and our life force. NOT ANYMORE. We are coming together in community to co-create a sacred container to make space for it all! We will honor our grief, all of it, in its beautiful and anguished complexity. And we will find our way through to the other side. It is also not possible to heal our grief alone. The healing happens in the witnessing and coming together. We want to see you, hold you, honor your journey, and help you see the bright light within you again. Come as you are. You do not have to hold it all alone.
