(Screener job description): ● The security screener is responsible for identifying dangerous objects in baggage, cargo and/or on passengers; and preventing those objects from being transported to the vessel. ● Provides the safeguarding and security of assets for personnel, customers and all visitors. ● Perform a variety of duties related to providing security and protection of cruise travelers. ● Wand, pat down searches on passengers, visitors, clients and screen luggage professionally. ● Inspect documents validity such as TWIC, Port ids, driver’s licenses, passports for access control. ● Write reports of daily activities: property damage, theft, unauthorized persons ● Assist in the deployment, recovery, maintenance, and housekeeping of equipment. ● Other duties may be assigned for operational needs. (Security Officer Job description): ● Guards, patrols, or monitors premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules. ● Exhibits customer service skills in all interactions with cruise passengers, co-workers, visitors ● Monitors and authorizes entrance and departure of passengers, employees, visitors, and other persons to guard and maintain security of premises ● Monitors and reports suspicious activities to appropriate supervisors. ● Inspects documents for validity: TWIC, Port ids, driver’s licenses, passports for access control. ● Writes reports of daily activities, equipment or property damage, theft, unauthorized persons. ● Assists in the deployment, recovery, maintenance, and housekeeping of equipment. ● Other duties may be assigned for operational needs.
