Seeking Senior Solar Installer with Electrical Experience

Description

We are a local Bay Area solar PV installation company seeking a senior solar installer with at least 3 years of experience in electrical work. Duties will include, but are not limited to: • Knowledge of California electrical code, electrical wiring, service panels, circuit breakers, load calculations, and electrical troubleshooting • Knowledge of installing solar PV systems, including reading design plans, troubleshooting PV systems, and calculating PV loads • Knowledge of new and upcoming energy storage systems would be a plus. • Maintenance of safe ladder use, fall protection, and general company safety policies • Installation of photovoltaic and thermal solar modules • Installation of flashing, mounting, racking, and wiring systems • Attending city inspections with knowledge of installations and city codes • Working at elevated heights with required power tools • Must be able to climb ladders, lift 50+ lbs repetitively, and communicate professionally • Must have valid California drivers license
