DASHI is thrilled to invite you to join us for the premier of our new wine tasting series, Vino & Vinyl. This special inaugural edition starring San Antonio favorite Chef Goro of acclaimed Godai Sushi, sweetheart sommelier Ceci Barretto, and DASHI executive resident Chef Jian Li will take you on a libatious five-course globally-inspired journey, complimented by fortified wine pairings and tastings. Those with a penchant for heightened palates of taste and sound will experience a wine tasting that activates all sensory perceptions as they enjoy SA's finest DJs spin vinyl with catalogues of hand-selected tracks and crisp organic sounds on turntables in this relaxed and accentuated setting. 1st SEATING: 12:30 PM - 4 PM On Deck: Mr. Sprout & DJ Ira 2nd SEATING: 4:30 PM - 8 PM On Deck: Miel Beton & Joshua Swensen & DJ Chacho A portion of proceeds will benefit Texas Food & Wine Alliance and help to foster awareness, support, and innovation in Texas culinary communities through grants, educational programming, and events. SPIRITS & WINE With historical origins from 17th century England, the process of fortification was developed to stabilize and preserve wine for long sea voyages before the invention of modern refrigeration and resulted in delicious, viscous wine-based sipping treats that are high in antioxidants and range in sweetness, color, flavor and origin. Special selections of Vermouth, Port, Madeira, Sherry and Sauternes will be featured in this inaugural showcase. VINYL Live turntables highlight sound and hardware, mixing physical records on the fly by aficionado DJ's. Vinyl sound is warm, clear, and intimately human.
