Infant CPR For New Parents is a hands-on course using mannequins for parents and other caregivers who want to learn infant CPR and do not require a certified course completion card. This course is ideal for new parents, grandparents, babysitters and others interested in learning how to save an infant’s life. It will be conducted in person. FREE for District Residents! Out-of-district resident fee is $20! The Infant Family & Friends CPR Course teaches the lifesaving skills of infant CPR with breaths, AED use, and relief of infant choking. Skills are taught in a dynamic group environment by using the AHA’s research-proven practice-while-watching technique, which provides students with the most hands-on CPR practice time possible. Class is approximately 90 to 120 minutes long. Instructor will wear a mask at all times. Participants are asked to provide proof of up-to-date vaccination and wear as mask during the class. Please note: if less than 4 people sign up, the class will be cancelled, and notification will be sent to the email provided in the registration.
