Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a seasoned full-time maintenance technician with experience in residential community common area maintenance and janitorial for our Kingsburg location. This position reports directly to the Community Manager and regular duties include, but are not limited to: Common area landscape maintenance Irrigation repairs Common area janitorial (clubhouse, bathrooms, etc.) Minor electrical repairs on items such as appliances, fixtures, switches and outlets, etc. Minor painting Minor plumbing repairs such as replacing fittings and faucets, clearing drain stoppages, etc. General maintenance such as replacing broken tile, screens, garbage disposals, fixtures, appliances, blinds, and locks; maintaining and cleaning the property Troubleshoot utility system outages and problems Work with water and gas meter shutoffs Replace gas meters at each space, per schedule Maintain accurate records of work performed Qualifications: Applicant must: Be customer-service oriented; Possess a good work ethic and uphold the company values; Have a minimum of two years or more of recent experience in apartment/residential maintenance; Mobile Home Park experience is a plus; Be able to work with minimal supervision; Be able to resolve challenges logically and know when to refer more complex issues to a higher level since duties and tasks are frequently non-routine; Demonstrate initiative, professionalism, integrity, and exercise confidentiality in all areas of performance; Be punctual, neat and efficient; Have basic use skills of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); Read, write, and speak English fluently Own basic tools to use at work Star Management is very strongly devoted to the use of technology in every facet of our business and seeks a person who is fully functional in today's software applications and property management techniques.
