Murphy Quint will explore 4-5 samples of American Single Malt Whiskey, each finished in a different cask. This class will also examine a sample from the Solera Vat, which is used to make Cedar Ridge’s Signature Edition of their American Single Malt - The QuintEssential. Murphy will talk and taste through samples with the class and then the class will be challenged to make their own blend with those samples. It’s the same process used for each batch of The QuintEssential on a much smaller scale. • Attendance is limited to 25 participants. • Workshop will be held on Saturday, August 6th at 12:45 PM & 3:30 PM and will last 45 minutes. • Workshop will be held in the Elks Lodge Ballroom • This workshop includes a complementary Iowa Irish Fest branded whiskey glass. • Must be 21 to attend This workshop purchase does not include your admission into the festival.
