Recovery from alcohol and drugs is more than just abstinence. At Project Morning Star, residents learn a daily program which makes life long sobriety possible. Recovery includes taking responsibility for our actions, spiritual healing, life tools, structure, financial management, positive social skills, and healthy habits. Project Morning Star is helping men and women get their lives back. Lives are changing. Nationally, employers incur about $250 billion in operating costs due to untreated drug and alcohol addiction. It is time to rethink how we treat this disease. Nationwide, Sober Living proves to be the most affordable and effective foundation for long-term sobriety. We view every donor, large or small, as a partner in our organization, and every donation as an investment you make in someone's life. Our basic monthly expenses are close to $9,000, with costs of $1,000 a month per resident. However, we only ask our residents to pay $500, leaving us with the financial burden.
