Our band is looking for a new drummer. We cover the music of multiple genres over a few generations. Artists we cover include KC and the Sunshine Band, Taylor Swift, Dolly Parton, Michael Jackson, Huey Lewis, Outkast, Maroon5, Prince, Kiss, Bon Jovi, No Doubt, Roy Orbison, Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Lipps, Gretchen Wilson, ABBA, Bruno Mars and many others. Our primary focus is performing for weddings, private events, and corporate events, but we also play bars. ALWAYS PAID. We currently rehearse weekly. The ideal drummer has amazing dynamics, has finesse and loves the challenge of a broad spectrum of musical styles and demands. You also can throw down a solo from time to time!(typically within an R and B tune) We have a practice kit, but it is an E-kit. Use ours and bring your own brass and snare(if you're worried about the action of the e kit)OR bring your own kit. We rent a secure, locked, insured studio in VERY CLOSE IN SE Portland. We've got a NICE hydraulic, ergonomic, comfy throne for ya! Ideally we are gigging 3+ times per month. Shoot me a call, email or text message for more info!
