Accomplished jazz pianist, vocalist and peace activist Cynthia Hilts lived in New York City from the early ’90s up until her recent move back to her hometown of Tucson. While living in New York she performed and recorded with a who's who of jazz greats including George Garzone, Cecil McBee and Ron McClure and led groups at many of NYC's finest jazz clubs. For her Century Room debut, she brings in a unique project that presents psychedelic rock and roll from the turbulent 1960s and '70s in a jazz setting, that will exemplify her skills as a singer, pianist and bandleader.
