Youth Introductory Sewing Whether you're completely new to sewing or you've got a couple of projects under your belt, we bet you'll find something you haven't tried yet here! Our Introductory Sewing Workshop offers a crash course in threading your needle, choosing the correct thread, knotting the end of the thread, running stitch, slip stitch, backstitch, blanket stitch, cross-stitch. Students will quickly apply their learned stitches to complete a sewing project. Materials included: Basic sewing materials (needles, thread, scissors), varying fabrics to practice stitching, stuffed craft requiring finishing techniques, tote for sewing materials. Preferred Ages: 10 and above (parents not required to attend event) Light refreshments will be provided; if allergies present, please contact boutique 48 hours prior to scheduled event to have accomodations.
