UF/IFAS Extension Gadsden County will host this year’s Big Bend Pesticide Training Series. The series is a multi-county collaboration between Gadsden, Leon, and Jefferson County Extension Agents. The series is scheduled for September 12-15th at the Gadsden County Extension Office (2140 W. Jefferson St., Quincy, FL). This series offers a wide variety of pesticide CEUs, including some hard to find categories such as aquatics and right-of-way. The different sessions can serve as a review for the corresponding exams, or they can be used to obtain CEUs in the specific categories. Registration is $15/session and refreshments will be provided. Big Bend Pesticide Training Series Agenda: All times are in Eastern Standard Time (EST) Monday, September 12th: 8:30-11:00AM – CORE with Exam (3 487 & 2 482 CEUs) 1:00- 3:30PM – Private/Row Crop with Exam (3 CEUs) Tuesday, September 13th: 8:30-11:00AM – Right-of-Way with Exam (3 CEUs) 1:00- 3:30PM – Aquatic with Exam (3 CEUs) Wednesday, September 14th: 8:30-11:00AM – Ornamental & Turf (3 CEUs) 1:00- 3:30PM – Natural Areas (3 CEUs) Thursday, September 15th: 7:45- 11:20AM – Forestry with Exam (4 CEUs) For more information, please contact the Gadsden County Extension Office at 850-875-7255.
