We live in the country and are looking for a companion and protector. We have large birds catnapping our small cats :( Not only do we want a companion when working in the garden and enjoying the outdoors, we also want a protector of our farm cats. We have grandkids and granddogs that come to visit often. The dog would need to be kid, dog and cat friendly. Not picky on breed as long as it's not super long hair. It would be a plus if the dog likes to go on walks and doesn't mind car rides! We travel into town to walk with friends and their dogs. Thank you!
