Press release from the City of Huntsville: July 20, 2022 The Huntsville Police Department (HPD) has charged 22-year-old Cameron Tyrese Doughty with Murder following a shooting incident on Tuesday, July 19 around 9:20 a.m. HPD officers responded to the area of 15th and Omni Street and found a man identified as Larry Rice, Sr., 63, dead in the roadway. HPD investigators determined the incident stemmed from a minor traffic crash that led to an altercation. Doughty was booked into the Madison County Jail with a $70,000 bond.
