This is the perfect full or part-time job for students, artists, retirees and others looking for free-time in their afternoons and evenings. Standard Baking Co. is looking for a full or part-time, early morning delivery driver. Come join our hardworking morning bakery crew and deliver some of the best baked goods in Maine! You will be delivering bread and pastries to our customers in and around Portland in our bakery van. You should enjoy physical work, safe driving and making people happy. This can be a full-time position at 32 hours/week which includes full benefits package (starting after initial 3-month training), or part-time. This has been an ideal job for students, artists and retirees as the workday ends before noon and offers very competitive compensation. As the bakery driver you'll be an integral part of the bakery's success and will be fully trained in proper packing and product quality. Excellent basic math and organizational skills and dependability will ensure success in this position. The right person will have a somewhat flexible schedule, wants to work early morning shifts (5am start time), and works well with others in a positive, high-energy environment. Physical requirements include the ability to lift 30 pounds repeatedly without assistance. A valid Maine Drivers' License and excellent driving record required. We look forward to meeting you!
