Meet Chibi.. Chibi (Japanese for little one) is 2 months old and as sweet as sugar. She loves to be near my wife and I at all times even if that means just resting on our feet as we sit on the sofa. About the most tame a cockatiel can be. Chibi is a fully flighted female cockatiel and hand fed after 1 week old. Originally it was my intention to not begin hand feeding until 2-3 weeks old but she along with her siblings developed splayed legs while in the nesting box. She survived and has been recovering rather well, but still walks with a slight limp and stands with one foot back. To be honest it kinda reminds me of a penguin and is cute. She has not let the leg slow her down as she walks, climbs and flies every where. I really hope Chibi finds a good owner who will love having a bird by their side at all times. $50 dollar re-homing fee
