Job description SIGN ON BONUS- $2,000 The Product Support Technical Assistant (PSA) will help provide product focused support for designated manufactured and/or retailed products. In this role, the PSA will utilize basic mechanical, communication, and problem-solving skills. The PSA will have primary responsibility for assisting the Product Support Specialist (PSS) in providing product support. To be effective, the PSA will need to work collaboratively with other employees, departments, dealer personnel and end users. The PSA will focus on learning and gaining experience with assigned products to become a product expert Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) Assist in provide technical product support for dealers and end users Assist in the creation of training materials and videos for Oxbo’s internal service staff, dealers, and customers. Serve as the secondary point of contact for dealers and service departments requiring technical support on assigned products. Assist and support other technical support staff as needed. Participate in product validation and verification processes. Assist in testing new products and design improvements. · Assist with prototype assembly process. Assist in developing resources for the online product support library. Qualifications/Requirements: Mechanically inclined Willing to learn technical skills and product knowledge Good written and verbal communication skills Good customer service skills and the ability to assist and train end-users. Presentation skills desirable. Basic computer skills and some experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. The ability to work on long and short-term projects with supervision in a fast-paced environment The ability to travel and work varied/extended hours based on seasonal support needs Valid/Clean driver's license and ability to travel into Canada Education/Experience The ideal candidate would have some mechanical experience or training from high school or technical school. Interest/Experience in agriculture or machinery.
