Lighthouse Christian Church Novato Music Dept. is looking for a Worship Leader who can lead the music portion of our Sunday morning praise & worship service. We are looking for a dedicated vocalist, with a professional attitude and a strong heart for serving God. This is a paid position, $1,500 - $2,000 depending on experience and/or background. Following is a description of the position: Whether you are new to leading worship or have an extensive background in praise and worship, our Worship Team needs you! Lighthouse Christian Church is an established Christian church in Marin County, CA. Our services are offered both in-person and online (via live streaming). We broadcast our weekly service on three television stations (local & non-local) as well as on two social media streaming services. Our current worship team consists of a full band of accomplished musicians, including two guitarists, a bassist, a drummer, and two backup vocalists, one of whom also doubles as a synth/keyboard player. Ideally, our new worship leader would be a strong lead singer and play an instrument (e.g., piano or guitar), but the latter is not a requirement. Our church has state-of-the-art equipment, all of which is run by dedicated sound and video production teams. We play Contemporary Christian music, as well as occasional hymns, Spanish, traditional, and gospel songs.
