Trusses Assembler:
Our assemblers are responsible for arranging precut wooden parts to build trusses and similar supports used in building construction at our Woodland and Beaverton construction assembly warehouse.
NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY - WILL TRAIN MOTIVATED CANDIDATES!
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
5am - 3:30 pm - $18/hr
3:30pm to 12am - $18.50/hr
*Pay will increase rapidly after conversion.
Construction Warehouse Assembly Responsibilities Include:
- Verifying dimensions of pre-cut parts for accuracy of assembly.
- Ability to place metal reinforcement plates over connecting joints and connect parts at joints using framing hammers.
- Assemble pre-cut wooden parts to build trusses and similar supports of wall sections used in building construction.
- Feeding lumber into the saw and providing project-specific direction for sawing activities on a variety of sawing equipment.
- Reading and understanding work orders.
- Quality checking assembled trusses.
Construction Warehouse Assembly Qualifications Include:
- Ability to stand for 8+ hours.
- Ability to lift 50-75 lbs consistently.
- Ability to bend, twist, squat, reach.
- The candidate must have excellent attendance.
- Team-Orientated.
- Candidates with a background in Construction are preferred (Not Required)
- Ability to communicate verbal and in written English or Spanish (Se Habla EspaƱol)
