The time has arrived for ALL responsible individuals to concern themselves with the issues of the day so that our freedoms are not further eroded. I emphasize the word "issues". Not parties, not ideologies, not "tribes". For this country to survive we must vote on the issues, not the individuals, regardless of how charismatic they may appear to be. Those that follow a charismatic individual will eventually forfeit there freedoms to that individual. One only needs to study Nazi Germany of the 1930's to understand just how true this is. This country has come to a crossroads. We must start to use our minds and not just robotlike follow soundbites or catch phrases like: "Make America Great Again". The original "Make America Great" catch phrase was used beginning in the 1930's. It was nothing more than a "code" phrase to bring together the bigoted prejudiced people of the time. If we are to keep our Republic, based upon democratic principles, we must reject Trump, DeSantis and ANYONE ELSE - from WHATEVER POLITICAL PARTY - and learn what the issues are and vote accordingly. It is really quite easy, or extremely difficult, depending upon your personal outlook but it is an undeniable truth: We as a people and a country must respect each other to survive or we will surely tear each other (and this country) apart!
