Guitarist looking to play heavy music

Hi, I'm looking to start/join a band that plays heavy music. Influenced by a lot of different styles. Lately I've been on a Korn, System of a Down, Slipknot kinda kick but I like playing punk, metal, rock n roll type of stuff too. I'm open minded as well so any and all original styles are welcome. End goal is to just go hard and play hella shows. Go off and see people going off. Edit: Mostly looking to play original music. I'm ok with cover songs here and there but I'm not tryna start any sort of cover band, just to clarify.
