I rescue cats. People call me all the time. Please come get this cat. Many reasons, usually they are in a home that the owner died, or they are orphaned. In this case, I was called to rescue an ALL black cat because the young lady who had her could not keep her. (Maturity on the owner's part, not the cat's issue.) This cat is SUPER friendly. A 5 year old male by the name of NERO. He is FIXED, clean, Litter Box trained, and well fed (kind of big actually), and SUPER FRIENDLY. He wants a parent that will want to pet him A LOT. His birthday is 04/17/2017. I am amazed at how healthy he is. He is also super talkative. He will sit with you, and tell you about his day. Learn to speak cat! I am super nervous about homes with DOGS for any of my rescues, but for once I think I have a cat who can handle that also. Or another cat would also ok, but he will need time to warm up. It took him about a week to warm up to my other cats. There is a rehoming fee. It is only $100. This is to ensure the new owner is serious about the time, expense, and dedication it requires to take a new pet home. It also funds my continued rescue efforts. I ask only the following commitments: * He must be an indoor-only cat. He will not survive outside, he has only lived indoors. Plus, indoor cats live twice as long as outdoor cats. * You must PROMISE not to declaw him. It is barbaric. I am firmly against this horrific practice. * You must PROMISE that if you have any issues or problems with housing any of my rescues, you contact ME first. I do not care if it is immediate or ten years from now. I am dedicated to finding good homes for the animals. * You must PROMISE above ALL ELSE that you will LOVE and CARE for this cat as if he was your own flesh and blood child. If you think you are up to this, please contact me VIA TEXT first. I work as a 911 dispatcher and cannot answer at all hours, but I do respond promptly.
