Description

I'm interested in forming a cover band that plays out for fun and some cash, doesn't play the local standard songs of other cover bands, and isn't specificly genre focused either. Playing the songs accurately so they're recognizable, but leaving room for improvisation to keep it interesting. Ideal age range: early 30's to late 50's Experience: 10,000 hours of practice and several years of live gigs Gear: doesn't matter as long as you can make it sound good and it's reliable Ideally there would be multiple singers with different ranges, two electric guitars, keys, bass, and 1-2 drummers & percussion. Some songs: Van Morrison - Wild Night The Rolling Stones - Miss You Bonnie Raitt - Runaway The Allman Brothers Band - Soulshine, Whipping Post... Fleetwood Mac - Black Magic Woman, Rhiannon, The Chain Eddie Money - Shakin, Baby Hold On, 2 tix Steve Miller - take the money Bob Seger - Night Moves Skynyrd - Working for MCA, That Smell, Sat night James Gang - Walk Away Bowie - Rebel Rebel, Young Americans BOC - Godzilla, Burning Heart Thin Lizzy Pink Floyd Dire Straits Elvis Roy Orbison - You Got It Funkadelic - Can you get to that Classic country Marshall Tucker band - This old cowboy The Road Hammers - Eastbound and Down Jefferson Starship - Jane Derek and the Dominos - Layla, why's love got to be so sad Bruce Springsteen - I'm on 🔥
