Full time position in Jonesboro, AR General Summary S&H Systems is a single-source, full-service material handling systems integration company, delivering dependable material handling systems, software, and post-sale support since 2002. The Facilities department is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of S&H Systems' building sites including finding and maintaining vendor contracts as well as repair, maintenance, and building improvement. We are seeking qualified candidates to perform a variety of cleaning tasks and occasional basic maintenance to ensure that S&H Systems’ facilities are representative of our commitment to safety and honor The Maintenance Team Leader will be responsible for leading and directly supervising the maintenance team. Performs very minor repairs and notifies supervisors or managers of major repairs needed such as plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC); carpentry; painting; and other building systems. Ensures a safe and clean environment for clients and associates by performing maintenance as necessary, responding to spills, deep cleaning, and disposing of trash Essential Job Functions: 1. Oversees work of assigned maintenance team employees 2. Addresses minor discipline problems with team members; refers more serious cases to maintenance supervisor 3. Assists with the planning and preparation of training and orientation for new maintenance team members. 4. Unlocks and unlocks rooms/buildings when cleaning, secures building when not in use 5. Reports unauthorized occupants and unsecured doors. 6. Participates in safety training, as necessary 7. Maintains appropriate levels of approved chemicals and supplies needed to ensure a safe and clean facility, including ensuring that chemical supplies are rotated and neatly stored in proper containers in preparation for their use 8. Maintains the safety of S&H facilities by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines 9. Thoroughly inspects and maintains cleaning and other support equipment Minimum Requirements (including years of experience): 1. At least five years of maintenance experience required. 2. Knowledge of building systems such as plumbing and HVAC highly desired. 3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 4. Supervisory and leadership skills 5. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software as needed to complete reports, logs, and inventory. 6. Valid Drivers License 7. Available for occasional weekend work or additional hours outside of the company’s normal business hours Education (minimum and preferred): High school diploma or equivalent required Day Shift: 8:00am to 5:00pm M-F Benefits offered: Medical, dental, vision, short/log term disability, 401K, paid holidays, paid vacation time.
