Tater-Chopper is an outdoors enthusiast and loves his snuggles from people he trusts! He loves car rides, rolling in grass, & sunbathing. His favorite treat is cheese. His best friend is a rowdy chihuahua. He takes great pride in chasing away birds or squirrels invading his yard! His perfect day would be chilling out in the sunshine with a human best friend to pet him and keep him company, some indoor games of fetch with his stuffed toys, a long nap in the grass, & cheese & peanut butter treats. He is a bit over 2 years old, neutered, healthy and up to date on all vaccinations and is on heart worm & flea prevention. We call him Tater-Chopper because he rather looks like a tater-tot or a full sized dog with short stubby legs! TaterChopper needs a home without young children or cats. He needs a new home because he chases our 5 cats so much- we are just not the right fit for him. The dachshund herding instinct is definitely present! He is nervous with strangers and quick unpredictable movements, but adores snuggling & sleeping in your lap once he knows you. He makes a great guard-dog and takes pride in chasing squirrels and birds in the sunshine. His ears are like velvet! He needs a steady, chill person to explore the outdoors with during the day and snuggle with at night. A rehoming fee will apply to ensure a good home. He is a sweet boy and deserves a good home.
