Senior still needs some help

I am a senior and still needing some help. I am a former volunteer for my community. (Part time for 8 years). I'm a cancer survivor and husband died last year. I am registered for help with rental assistance with a non profit but it's been months and a long process because of over 20,000 applicants. I am not able to pay rent at all at this time. I have good rental history though. I have called United Way and some other agencies and churches. Some not taking anymore apps at all and some have run out of funds. I am not able to get any help. I do not have family who can help. I am ok on food for now and am on list for senior apts that have 3 plus year waiting lists including section 8. I am also trying to find of a few things to raise funds. I can prove anything I say and am honest. Overwhelming amt of problems this past year that could happen to a lot of people. I know I am just one of them. I will talk to anyone who would like to reach out as a volunteer to help me. Some prayers welcome too.
