Description

This position is responsible for maintaining grounds and building at an assigned location. May work in a small group or independently as assigned. Will be responsible for daily course appearance. Ability to deal with the public and formulate solution to Golf Course problems. In addition, the Golf Course Operator places safety as a value and is responsible for maintaining a strong safety culture. Responsibilities: - Golf Course Set up (tee maker and pin placement) - Fill water and ice coolers - Cut grass and trim weeds using hand mower or power driver lawn mower, weed trimmer and brush cutter - Edge carts paths and bunkers - Rake Banker, Clean Debris - Pull weeds around bushes, trees, and flower beds - Ability to work variable hours - Clean building and grounds, washes windows and empties trash cans using brooms and cleaning supplies - Fill gas tasks, washes, wipes down Golf Course equipment - Work outside for long periods of time and in all kinds of weather, performing tasks that require physical strength and endurance - Assist with tennis court maintenance on a daily basis - Demonstrate the proper usage of equipment Education/Experience Requirements: - High School diploma or comparable experience - Must be 18 years of age to operate machinery
