We are looking for skilled carpenters to join our unique construction company. The ideal candidates are experienced craftsmen who take pride in their work. Applicants must be skilled in all phases of remodeling and be able to efficiently produce extremely high quality work. Carpenter must possess the following knowledge: - current practices, materials, hand and power tools, & other equipment as needed - cabinetry and counter top construction, installation and/or assembly - basic estimating - basic plumbing and electrical - basic painting and drywall finishing - intermediate computer skills Carpenter must possess ability to: - prepare, read, interpret, & work from sketches, drawings, plans,& blueprints - perform skilled rough & finish carpentry work - operate tools & machines of the construction trade - lift and carry heavy tools/materials - provide leadership & cooperate with field staff, office staff, clients, vendors & subcontractors - keep accurate records Successful Carpenter will: -determine the most efficient work procedures and techniques for assigned staff to ensure timely completion of projects & make sure that safety procedures are followed - perform service calls for emergency repairs - estimate job costs and prepare material lists - assist Project Manager with technical input concerning work in progress - inspect projects for maintenance and safety issues - maybe required to schedule and oversee subcontractors assigned to project - some local travel may be required. Lead responsibilities include guidance and instruction on techniques, methods, and procedures for accomplishing assigned tasks and solving problems. Job Type: Full-time Salary: $22.00 to $28.00 /hour - PTO - 401K
