After 4 years of Law School I do know the law. I never said he would not be convicted I said he had the right not to defend.
Any trial lawyer can tell you it's always a 50-50 chance in Court just like in a cage fight.
In light of the fact that Judge Nichols relied on a 60 year old case in tossing out defense witnesses and there will be an appeal. Don't get too excited yet.
Plus the lower end of a sentence is a $100 fine or 30 days no big deal. Calm down.
