Description
We are seeking a maintenance worker based out of our North Providence location. We have multiple locations where maintenance work is required as needed.
The position is full time, and includes a full benefit package including vacation/sick time, medical/dental coverage, life insurance.
Specific Job Duties:
- Responsible for snow removal including plowing and sanding parking lots and/or side walks.
- Be able to operate mowers, trimmers and other machinery associated with lawn maintenance.
- Be able to drive a large truck and/or van as needed.
- Physically able and capable of lifting objects of 60lbs or less.
- Basic knowledge of carpentry and plumbing.
- Basic knowledge and skill in painting and wallpapering.
- Ability to work on ladders cleaning gutters, etc.
- Capable of taking initiative in recognizing problems and/or danger in
Residential Living Arrangements.
- Able to work independently.
- Able to prioritize jobs.
- Attention to detail,, use good judgment and initiate needed projects.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Preferred experience with concentration on maintenance and landscaping to include general building maintenance, light carpentry, plumbing, and minor electrical.
- Valid driver's license.
- Must clear a criminal background check.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
2 years of experience preferred.
