Par 1 Turf and Landscaping, a privately owned company, is looking for a Crew Lead- Lawn Maintenance Team member to join our residential /commercial landscape maintenance team. This position is a foundational piece of our business and is vitally important to the success of our company. RESPONSIBILITIES * Perform daily assigned commercial and residential landscape maintenance services such as mowing, trimming, edging, pruning, aeration, spring clean-up, fall clean-up, etc. * Proactively identify lawn and landscape needs and make recommendations for improvements such as mulch installation, fertilization and weed control, etc. * Provide excellent customer experience * Operate a variety of mechanical equipment including but not limited to bed edgers, commercial mowers, blowers, dump trailers, chainsaws, line trimmers, and tillers * Perform landscape enhancement activities such as mulch application, plantings, top soil application, lawn seeding JOB REQUIREMENTS * Self-motivated and able to manage time and schedule * Experience in general landscape maintenance or willingness to be trained * Experience using large commercial walk-behind mowers or willingness to be trained * Pruning knowledge and experience or willingness to be trained * Clean driving record and valid drivers license * Basic experience driving a truck and trailer * Ability to lift up to 50lbs * Basic knowledge of small engine maintenance * Ability to effectively communicate and positively interact with employer, team members and customers * Attentive to detail * Perform other related duties as requested * Preferably: Live in the South Charlotte vicinity Benefits: * Year-round employment with full-time hours. * Flexible schedule: four 10-hour days with Fridays off * Competitive pay based upon performance and experience
