SCOTTSDALE, AZ — Christmas will go on for a while longer at the Scottsdale Fairmont Princess, which has extended its annual Christmas celebration until Jan. 9. The north Scottsdale resort announced that its 'Christmas at the Princess' event will be extended with many of the same activities, but without Santa, who's retired to the North Pole for the year. However, families will still be able to ride the Polar Glide ride, Ferris wheel and carousel, go ice skating and so much. The hotel's millions of Christmas lights, Princess Express trains and delicious food will still be around for all to enjoy as well. Kids can meet with their favorite holiday characters or roast a s'more over a cozy fire pit to keep the winter magic going into the new year. To attend, guests can choose to stay overnight at the Princess in one of its newly renovated rooms, spend at least $75 at one of the hotel's restaurants or pre-purchase tickets online. Walk-ins will not be accepted. Capacity is limited and face masks are required to ensure guest safety. Social distancing will also be enforced by the hotel.
