Job Overview Packaging Operators are primarily responsible for the canning, kegging and packaging of Kinney Creek Brewery beer and seltzer through operation and maintenance of canning line and kegging equipment, inventory, and handling of raw materials. Job Type: Full-Time 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Arrive to each shift on time with a positive attitude * Safe and efficient operation of canning, kegging and packaging equipment * Manage flow of packaging materials and finished product through packaging process * Proper and safe use of equipment and lines * Maintain and/or implement new, efficient, and effective work methods and systems within the packaging process * Ensure that security procedures are adhered to throughout Kinney Creek Brewery * Coordinate with brewing and purchasing departments to ensure supply levels are adequate to support daily and weekly schedule completion * Communicate regularly and efficiently with brewing staff * Maintain all equipment in clean, good working order * Clean and fill of various types of kegs. * Monitor and react to QA specifications: quality control of various packaging processes; watch and monitor fill levels in various packaging types; monitor aesthetics of outer packaging and labels; monitor carbonation levels in finished beer and seltzer. * Keep operating spaces clean and organized * Perform other duties as assigned Desired Minimum Qualifications * Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. * Experience: 1-2 years in a similar or related field. * Reliable transportation. * Excellent organization, attention to detail and problem-solving skills. * Team work ethic and a positive attitude. * Must have mechanical aptitude. * Attentive and can easily learn and adapt to new equipment and processes. * Any Brewing experience (especially craft beer) is a plus. * Must be 21+ years of age. Physical Demands * Must be able to lift/carry and/or move up to 50 pounds and be able to move kegs which weigh roughly 165lbs. * Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and bend for majority of work schedule. * Tolerate summer/winter temperature conditions in a production environment. * Must be able to work flexible shifts and overtime as necessary.
