Licensed driver(s) needed to follow septuagenarian cyclist as he attempts to break the world record for 100 miles. Must be 18 or older. Car provided. The gig is from 5:30 am to 12:30 pm on Sunday, August 14, but this could be broken into two or more shifts. The World Ultracycling Association (WUCA) maintains time and distance records for various age categories. Record attempts must be monitored by a WUCA official in a "follow car". Basically, the gig is to chauffeur the official four laps around a 25 mile course. The occupational hazard of this gig is boredom, since the cyclist and follow car will be averaging about 17 mph. This gig pays $35/hr.
