The primary role we are looking to fill at this time involves general operations inside the shop and installation and service work as part of a team on the docks. The ideal candidate will have: • A willingness to learn new skills • Strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment. Exceptional attention to detail. • The ability to follow detailed instructions is an important skill for this position • Basic mathematical skills required in manufacturing environment. • The employee is occasionally required to work from a ladder and/or scaffolding • Experience working with hands, hand tools, power tools, tape measure, grasping/reaching above head height, lifting/moving items up to 50 pounds individually or 75 pounds with assistance, • Ability to operate forklift preferred. • General house keeping duties such as sweeping, and emptying trash and general organization of shop • Must be at least 18 years of age. • Must have valid drivers license and transportation • A high school diploma or equivalent are the preferred minimum educational requirements for applicants to this role. Physical Requirements: • Lift up to 60 lbs. • This position is physically demanding, you must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch repetitive motions, climbing, to complete tasks. Visual acuity is a plus. • You will be exposed to outdoor elements (rain, sun, cold etc...) General duties for this position vary greatly based on the jobs we are working on at any given time.
