Description
To Kodak’s future home: Please take the best care of our best friend.. we are unable to keep our two year old Kodak as we just became first time parents and can no longer give him the attention he needs. Kodak has been so much fun these past few years! We always take him hiking and swimming with us in the summer months so we hope that his next home is just as active. He is definitely a ball of energy, as most shepards are. He loves to play fetch or even better, he loves to play with other dogs. On hikes he does amazing off leash, even out in public at a lake. He is super friendly, he loves other dogs, cats, kids, men, women, etc. Dak is a very social dog. We never had problems at the dog park. He’s the biggest cuddle bug, He loves to snuggle and be loved. He’s a very very smart dog, you can teach him about anything you want, you just need to put the time in. He knows the basics: stay/wait, sit, paw, other paw, down, roll over, and high five. You just gotta signal what u want, and I can show you when you two meet. He is fully potty trained and he can hold his potty in for a really long time, but obviously that’s not ideal. Dak is about 80lbs give or take, he’s 3/4 german shepard and that last 1/4 is a mix of pit bull and a few other things. We had his dna tested thru his teeth, I’ll see if I can find the paper that shows everything or if his vet can print another one off. He’s had his year 1 shots just not year 2. We can provide his history. Kodak has a very sensitive stomach so we have him on a “strict” diet. We feed him chicken breast mixed with a certain dog food that we will provide and this pumpkin powder supplement for fiber and he’s good to go. If we step outside his usual food he throws it up or has diharrea. You don’t have to add the chicken if you don’t want to that won’t change anything, it’s just the pumpkin supplement is 100% needed along with the dog food. When you pick up Kodak he’ll come with a kennel, his food bowls, leash, harness, dog shampoo, kibble and kibble container, treats and his balls. We don’t have any plush toys for him, he doesn’t really care for them he just tears them up. He loves ropes, balls, bones, bully sticks, stuff that’s not easy to chew up because that’s boring to him. We’re truly looking for the best home for our buddy, we would like to meet you guys first then see how Dak responds to you. We prefer a house with a yard, no apartments, he needs to run around. Please feel free to message me at anytime. Thank you, Naomi
